Friday

Donald John Trump is a traitor to the United States of America.
Russia attacked our elections and is continuing to do so.
Donald John Trump jokes around with Putin about meddling in our elections.

Meanwhile no one does anything about it.  This is where we are at.

Also, on a much, much better note--this popped in my this morning:

Ancestry
It seemed harmless.  A slip of the tongue, little swab, little jar, paid postage.  Everybody was doing it. Swedes, Germans, Africans, Scots, Portuguese, all looking for that little nugget of gold.  I wanted to do it so bad.  Ever since I heard of it.  I wanted to know.  I was trying to find the origins of man and I was a part of that story.  Every time I stared at that little oasis on the side of the road.  You know, that overgrown desolate space where no one lives, no one ever goes?  That stare of eternity like you are looking into an infinity mirror?  That telescopic stare that zooms into the essence of the place and you live there for a brief moment or you see a red winged black bird and you follow it and live with it.  You don't do that?

to be continued.

We need to march

The United States has concentration camps.
The US Secy of State is in a doomsday cult.
Thoughts change this body
Bodies change
We should be here to help each other
What else is there?
Life?

Summer soulstice

Hell yeah, mammatus morning on summer solstice
Feeling...what is the feeling you get when you feel like
you said too much to people who you don't need to say
anything to?  Guilt?  Shame? Regret?
I'm not holding on to this shit on the longest day of the year.
lighten that soul, woman
maybe Goethe's bone is the key
we shall see
heeheeheeheeheeheeheehee
heeheeheeheeheeheeheehee
I want to crawl in my high plains drifter
and drift
visualize vibrating dragonfly wings
or stare out the window and be hypnotized by the
blowing storm
watch the trees
the wind has its way with the flag

What's in your wake?

I like the idea of me creating, leaving little creations in my wake.  Like Will Ferrell's Elf leaving paper snowflakes in every room, you know he was there.  I remember my husband telling me about a delivery driver telling him he has comedy going all over town.  I think it's good to leave a little of whatever it is that you make up, that makes up you all over town, in every room, in your wake.

Me thinking

Scale Wing.  Lepidoptera.  The red admiral was everywhere on Sunday.  My kids caught two in their butterfly net.  The last one had a damaged wing.  We gave it honeysuckle nectar.  It was weird, the stamen magnetically stuck to the red admiral's face.  We watched four eagles soar so high heading to the south in a kind of group.  We also saw a hummingbird fly and sit on a branch and look like a leaf and then whiz by my husband's head.

The number 4, according to Animal Speak, means-foundations, patience, builder in the positive aspect.  The direction, south, means-purification, faith, strength, awakening inner child, overcoming obstacles, playfulness, change, protection, self-sufficiency, trust, resurrection.  The "keynote" for eagles is-illumination of spirit, healing and creation.  Eagles "will teach a balance of being of the earth but not in it."  The eagle has been associated with Jupiter and in Egyptian hieroglyphics, is a symbol for the letter "A".  It is "also a symbol for the soul, the spirit, and the warmth of life."

"The fire of the sun and the clear water are opposite elements brought into harmony in a manner that elicits a change."
Needs for those with eagle totem-
1, Creativity is a must
2, "[F]acilitate the alchemical process with your life."  what does this mean??
3. "[W]illingness to use your passions to purify (flying into the sun) and to use your abilities even if it means being scorched a little."  And what does THIS mean?!
4. "[W]illingness to seek out the true emotional aspects of oneself and immerse yourself within them."  ...Ok...guess I need to deep dive study to understand what this may mean for me if anything at all.

"The feet of the eagle have four toes.  Four is a traditional symbol for keeping oneself grounded and laying a solid foundation..."  "This reflects the need to stay connected to grasp and utilize the things of the earth."

Meditate on the figure 8.

You princess charmant, you red admiral
Thank you for picking all those honeysuckle to sustain our broken winged friend yesterday
Today is your day of power!
I know you will use it wisely, have fun magic eyes. xoxo

End of May

A public library is the most democratic thing in the world. What can be found there has undone dictators and tyrants. —Doris Lessing

I want to congratulate librarians, not famous for their physical strength or their powerful political connections or their great wealth, who, all over this country, have staunchly resisted anti-democratic bullies who have tried to remove certain books from their shelves, and have refused to reveal to thought police the names of persons who have checked out those titles. So the America I loved still exists, if not in the White House or the Supreme Court or the Senate or the House of Representatives or the media. The America I love still exists at the front desks of our public libraries. —Kurt Vonnegut

I am your Countrywoman
I am your fellow Missourian
You don't deserve me.
You don't see me.
I see all of you.
I could make you blossom,
see all the beauty
I could make you grow,
crowd out the pain
I could give your mind a break,
ease your journey
Instead you sit on spikes and
vibrate the fury
Come with me, follow me,
listen to me
Let's share this

This morning-
Two flashes of a dream I can't remember
Blasted by Ruthie's Knocking
I'm your Faith Healer
I'm just looking for one Divine Hammer
Sundays..I've been wondering lately, who's going to save me?
A bird hit my car..I think it flew off, I hope..might've been a starling.

I'm into vultures now and Eugene Grasset

A vulture on board; bald, red, queer-shaped head, featherless red places here and there on his body, intense great black eyes set in featherless rims of inflamed flesh; dissipated look; a business-like style, a selfish, conscienceless, murderous aspect-the very look of a professional assassin, and yet a bird which does no murder.  What was the use of getting him up in that tragic style for so innocent a trade as his?  For this one isn’t the sort that wars upon the living, his diet is offal—and the more out of date it is the better he likes it.  Nature should give him a suit of rusty black; then he would be all right, for he would look like an undertaker and would harmonize with his business; whereas the way he is now he is horribly out of true.    ---Following the Equator, Mark Twain

Grackle time

I woke up this morning with this song playing on loop in my head:

I recently heard it on the radio.   I totally forgot about this song from my past and enjoyed listening to it in my car in the present.  I'm pretty sure I remember thinking it was lame and boring at the time.  I decided today I love it.

Most importantly, I have observed that for the last one or two weeks Grackles are everywhere.  Moving to and fro, populating the bird feeders, swooping down and up, making crazy vocalizations that I imagine were heard during the dinosaur's reign.  I can't decide if I like "Grackle season" or "Grackle time" better.

Found this on wikipedia:
Though the exact mechanism is poorly understood, several studies have examined the ability of the common grackle to interpret the Earth's magnetic field—or in this case, the variability of it. The common grackle, (like most of its Quiscalus siblings) has been found to exhibit a scientifically significant attunation with a dynamic magnetic field.

I like saying it.  Grackle.

third eye

Hi, A few days ago I had a thought or a vision that a smoky rainbow prism refraction was emanating from the center of my forehead.  Last night, the skin between my eyebrows began twitching.  It was an odd sensation.  I decided to smoke CBDMJ a bit to see if that would relax me and help.  I had a bit too much and I was doing my best to not go down paths in my thinking that I didn't want.  I never went there probably because of the really low THC.  Later when I laid down I realized I had to relax into the twitch.  I don't know exactly the order chronologically, but I started having inner visions.  I feel like I had a peek at this woman with a white swimsuit on and Veronica Lake hair sitting in some either tropical or Egyptian getaway.  It had a Bond movie feel to it.  I saw her leg move.  Then a bunch outlines of human figures and faces showered my face.  I was overwhelmed, it was too much, I said so, said I was new.  It stopped, it wasn't scary, just too much.  I was in this plain hallway that was kind of dark and it spooked me a bit, I asked for it to be lighter.  It got a few shades lighter and then the image was done.  I saw the woman again and then I saw a man, he kind of seemed like he was of Asian decent..?  Had a red pill box hat with a tassel?  Am I making that up? Not sure.  Anyway the inner visions gave way to inner dialog with myself talking to something but it was myself I guess.  I had some good work, but can't remember everything.  I do remember that I realized I can make goals and they don't have to be career success driven.  Some were like rules to live by.  I had some ideas for a story I started and never finished.  My character can use his old ghosts to live in a body that can be refracted/reflected by light.  I cried, but not majorly, it was good and then I guess I fell asleep.

Dolphin Sounds

AS:  Can you talk about the dolphin language?
John Lilly:  No. I can tell you about them trying to speak English.
Aristotle, around 400 BC said, “the voice of the dolphin in air is like the voice of the human in pronouncing vowels and combination of vowels, but he can’t pronounce consonants.”  But we found that the consonants are the supersonic or ultra sonic frequencies, beyond human hearing.
Kutera DecCosta: Movement is a good communicator. You can communicate with dolphins  by mimicking them under water. You have to be a good swimmer, because they get board very fast.   But the more I can keep up with them like spiraling down and undulating, the more they really show an interest in checking me out.
J:  There is a scene in my film, Emerging Love Between Man and Dolphin, where I was doing the dog paddle [in the dolphin pool and Sissy is circling me doing the dog paddle too.
AS: After 40 years of being and studying dolphins what questions do you still have ?
J: I still want to talk to them.  That was part of problem and still is.
AS: What would you ask them?
J:  The history of the planet,.  They’re been around for 25 million years and probably have teaching stories that go way back like the Masi in Africa do. [Masi Merra is a nomadic tribe in Narobi,Kenya, Africa]  When Richard Llewellyn stayed with the Masi, heard their stories, he went and [looked ] up a Greek historian who had gotten the teaching stories of the Masi 2000 years before and they were exactly the same. So there is an oral verbal tradition that can carry over years.
AS:  Did you find there was an oral tradition or continuity of sounds of dolphins and whales  coming from one generation to the next?
K:  Well, I only know about the whales. About 5 years ago, Raphael and I were doing an album and we needed some whale sounds;  some of their songs.  I asked Roger Payne, a researcher, at the at  the International Whale Commission for help.  He said, “you can check it out , but I can tell you that the happiest and most beautiful whale sounds are from the 60’s and 70’s.  After that they  changed dramatically.”  So we ended  up using the whale sounds of the ’60’s.
AS: How do dolphins make their sounds?
J:  There are 4 sound sources.  Dolphins have lost their sense of smell,  but they use their nasal cavity to blow air back and forth to make sounds..
AS:  Is there a difference in sound between the two?
J: Whales have more frequencies.  The Blue whale has frequencies down where the elephant ; 10 cycles per second.  Human hearing stops at 20 cycles per second.
AS: Do dolphins have songs like whales.
J:  Probably.  They love music.  In my St. Thomas research lab we had a switch for music connected to a bungee cord.  And Peter, the dolphin  would have to grab a ball on the end of it and swum in order to close the circuit and start the music.  The first day we had it up, he swam for 8 hours listening to music.
K:  After Raphael and I released our album, Angels of the Deep and played it for the first time in the ocean with underwater speakers, we were surrounded by whales coming to check us out.
AS: Do you feel love from the dolphins when you swim with them?
K: I feel love and I also feel they zap me.
J:  Yes, right.
AS:  What do you mean zap you?
K:  Well when they send out their sonar, you can feel that on your spine, like prickling energy.  I can’t explain it more scientifically.  The feeling is great.
AS: Do you feel better or worse afterwards?
K: I have never felt bad after swimming with dolphins.  I always feel up lifted, my spirit soars and I fee l very grateful for having had the experience.
J:  A friend of mine, Beale Allen, swam with sperm whales in the Indian Ocean and she got zapped and she felt totally changed, you don’t even know her now.
AS:  So they send sound frequencies through your body?
K:  When John and I take people out on a Whale adventure you go into the water and you not only hear the sounds of the whales and dolphins you literally feel it.  Because the sound penetrates your body.  It is like being in a sound chamber.  It is a very unique experience.
AS:  I remember one time I was out with John in a boat and a group o f us were in the water swimming around, when we saw 6 whales approaching us about a mile away.  Then suddenly they were right in front of us, very close. They interacted and swam with us for about a half of hour to an hour. And it seemed to me, well, we call it whale watching, but time it was human watching.  They came with their youngsters, as if to say “that’s how humans look.”
It is a great experience to swim and look into the eye of a whale.  It  is very big and in there you look into eternity.  There you look into ancient, ancient knowledge.  In that moment everything stops and you connect with the eyes of the soul or the eyes of God.

What I'm into today...

AS: John, once you saw them floating around what was so interesting about them?
John C. Lilly: Their brain size is larger than ours and they have voluntary erection of their penis.  There was a Tahitian trainer, at the Marine studios, who took me over to the training tank where he blew a whistle and Algae, the dolphin, turned over and erected his penis in 7 seconds.
Kutera DecCosta:  I had an experience while I was swimming with a dolphin in the wild. A dolphin came up next to me and I started to touch him and stroke his belly.  Suddenly he had this erection and literally wrapped his penis around my knee, as a  way to hook on to me.  Then he started to undulate and I was on top of him and I thought, “My god, what is happening here.”  It was his way to hook on to me.  It was quite an experience.
J:  They will tow you around with their penis.
AS: So they don’t just use their erect penis just as a sexual tool, but for other functions as well?
J: How the hell would I know!

This morning

I'm branching out from the 50's on satellite radio and listening to 60's, 70's and 80's.  Today on  my way to work I put on the 70's and a song called, The Year of the Cat came on.  It was vaguely familiar and I was really enjoying it.  I saw that it came out the year I was born and for some reason the lyrics were making me think that this is what my mom must've felt like with a newborn me.  American Pie came on right after that and I switched it immediately to the 60's and The Walker Brothers were on!!!!!!  I laughed like a wild woman.  It was all right, kind of standard sounding whatever that means.  The DJ came on after it was over and said that the Walker Brothers weren't related and that none of them had the last name Walker.  He also said that one of them died recently so that's why I'm having these Walker Brother coincidences.  Later at work, I looked up the lyrics to The Year of the Cat....the lyrics have nothing that to do with what a mother would feel about her first year journey with her baby child!!  I laughed like a demented fool.  I texted my mom inquiring of her memories of that song and she replied, "How about that I hated that song".  I laughed like I spit my drink out.  Then I asked her if she ever heard of the Walker Brothers.  She loved them!

Al Stewart sort of doesn't care pose
It kinda sums up the album title

Also, yesterday I jammed out to Monkey by George Michael.  I totally forgot about that song!

I guess these bros were popular

I'm into album covers where the people posing don't give a shit.  It started off with some Ray Price album covers and yesterday I found these.  I have never heard of these brothers and apparently at one time they were more popular than Engelbert Humperdinck.
Here we go!

Can you see any familial traits?

They have me convinced that the sun will not shine anymore

They had enough songs for a collection, yet are still unfazed

The brothers don't seem to make it easy on themselves

They had hits, but remain unsatisfied.

You don't have to do anything we will psychedelic you up

Just hold this, throw these on and be you.

It's about time! This is the best one!  Cheers Bros!
