Black holes are cannibals

the resonance cures

obtuse caboose
smithereen
a bean
a jean (we miss you)
where have they gone?
a cartoon
where you put
your hand in the socket
radiating limbs
jagged and air controlled
in and out
the resonance cures
nano waves again
sparking sparking
like dancing billiard balls
bump into you bumped into
you and on and on
until the target is hit
but the energy remains
and never ends
don't forget
constructive and destructive waves
it all makes sense
physics.

ddddddddddddddrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

eeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrsssssssssss

i forgot to buy r.e.m. tickets when they were available in the midwest, so i had to travel to alaska to buy them. i walked around on, i guess, the outskirts of a glacier; some areas were white and some deep cerulean blue. it was neat to see water bubbles being held under the blue part of the ice. simon was in the airport where you buy these tickets, i decided to go in. simon informed me that the tickets were more expensive than the previous midwest price. oh well, it was our fault we missed it. we had to spend the night in alaska so we got a hotel. i was walking from the gas station for some reason when from the shadows i saw an enormous eagle fly out of the snowy ground. the eagle was fierce and every person around me coward in a worship pose, i did the same. the eagle stood before us and was going to do something horrible to us, it wanted what was in my hand so i fed the seeds or something of that size to it. it seems like i knew they were poison...but not enough to kill the eagle, because i end up running from it in the hotel and i can't find my room--i'm running all over this place. room 510, i think. either before or after this episode i was in a room with a tiger running and jumping off the wall.

Your money's worth

View of microscopic Martian dust particles.
Here ya go America, this is what your tax dollars earned!

Excerpt taken from Dan Whitcomb's article in msnbc.com:

'The Phoenix lander has returned the highest-resolution pictures ever taken of dust and sand on the surface of another planet as it prepares for its primary mission of searching for signs of life on Mars, NASA scientists said on Thursday.
The pictures were taken through an optical microscope and showed particles — some as small as one-tenth the diameter of a human hair — that were collected on a slide when Phoenix touched down on May 25 at the arctic circle of the Red Planet, kicking up dust from the surface.
"We have images showing the diversity of mineralogy on Mars at a scale that is unprecedented in planetary exploration," Michael Hecht of the U.S. space agency's Jet Propulsion Laboratory said at a media briefing.'

Georgetown, CO

Georgetown began as a mining camp in 1859, where miners searched for gold and silver ore. Now it's a really cute spot to walk around, stop in the Rock Shop and have a bite to eat at the Red Ram. (Thanks, Lemonie!)
