Let’s be sane

Are we really saying that showmanship is more important than substance?

-Rev. Al Sharpton

Quoted in his opinion piece, Biden’s debate disaster changes nothing. There’s only one path: Forward.

Keep cool, but do not freeze

Oh my god I found a new curiosity, wrapped into another curiosity!

I was trying to find this Jim Duke that an herbalist Kat Maier was talking about in Rosemary Gladstar's Inner Views series about him visiting the Amazon to prove to science about some wizards or something?  It piqued my interest to explore.  I thought I found him and after reading a few things, I was for sure going to post about him.  However, I'm nearly pretty sure that the Jim Duke to whom she was referring died in 2018. But this other Jim Duke, who has also visited the Amazon and... perhaps.. also looked for wizards too?--is alive.  His memoir just came out within the last year or so.

Jim Duke....submitted into the tomes of Periodical Curiosity...

I love his early thoughts, schemes on psychedelics -- I'm dying about the visual of mirror travel!

Reading Carlos Castaneda, I started believing I could learn to ‘mind travel’ to the extent that, if so desired, I could, for example, pop up in a mirror in a friend’s house across the country merely to surprise them. I also thought I might learn to fly and shape shift. I had great expectations.

--excerpt from this awesome post

His bio speaks to my roots.

Dropping out of high school to pursue the life of a cowboy in Texas, Jim Duke eventually bullshitted his way into college and attended University of Wyoming and University of Texas before finally earning a BS in Zoology and MS in Range Science on Mountain Goat Habitat in Alaska, both from Colorado State University.

Largely unemployable, he works on an ‘as tolerated’ basis mostly dealing with equines and compost. His only professional writing experience came from a brief employment with the Roaring Fork Weekly Journal writing a column called “Kiss My Ass.”

We're not no Red Football for U(.S. Govt)

I'm not no red footballTo be kicked around the gardenNo no
I'm a red christmas-tree ballAnd I'm fragile
I'm not no animal
Though I am to you
I'm not no crocodileLike the one in dublin zooWho lived in a cageThe length and breadth of his bodyWith a window which people would look throughAnd throw coins on his back to taunt himThough he couldn't moveEven if he wanted to
Well, I'm not no animal in the zooI'm not no whipping boy for you
You may not treat me like you do
I'm not no animal in the zoo
My skin is not a football for you
My head is not a football for you
My body's not a football for you
My womb is not a football for you
My heart is not a football for you
I'm not no animal in the zooSee, this animal will jump up and eat youI'm not no animal in the zoo
And I've every intention-
Of leaping up
and Get-ting YOU!

LALA LALA LALA LALA LALA LALA LALA LAH!
LALA LALA LALA LALA LALA LALA LALA LAH!
LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA!

Age of being Premature about Aging

“I think it’s premature at this stage to say that rapamycin is the drug you should take to reduce the negative effects of aging,” Volpi said.

Ideas for pandemic remembrance in US

The first week of March-- if possible, stay home, no or low purchasing, less car travel, a paid National Holiday, or Holi-week of rest for our part of the continent and all beings on it
A lockdown on our terms

Busts of people who perished during the pandemic gathered in their homelands, employ artists

Family, friends, neighbors can hold wake, touch the statue, bring flowers, picnic, mourn, grieve

Homemade paper with native flower seeds gifted to those who lost family members to Covid to write/draw thoughts, feelings, memories, share current life and leave on or around the bust

Tai chi or some type of collective movement (a sing along concert?) in this memorial park

My mistake, it was discriminate killing

The vehicles had a clearly visible WCK logo on their roofs so that the military would be aware the cars were full of aid workers. WCK said it was also in constant communication with Israeli military and civilian officials so that they were aware of the vehicles’ movements.

“It was a direct attack on clearly marked vehicles whose movements were known by the Israel Defense Forces,” Andrés wrote. “It was also the direct result of a policy that squeezed humanitarian aid to desperate levels.”

With WCK and some other aid groups suspending operations out of safety and Israel blocking entry into Gaza for the U.N. agency tasked with helping Palestinians, there is very little hope that remaining families in the enclave will have the resources to survive.

“I have been a stranger at Seder dinners. I have heard the ancient Passover stories about being a stranger in the land of Egypt, the commandment to remember ― with a feast before you ― that the children of Israel were once slaves,” Andrés wrote.

“It is not a sign of weakness to feed strangers; it is a sign of strength. The people of Israel need to remember, at this darkest hour, what strength truly looks like.”

To reabsorb or shed an egg is murder

Every month a woman with a uterus is committing murder when she has her period.

A female baby is born with about a million eggs.  The first few million die in the womb, before the female human is born.  A female baby is murdering eggs left and right until puberty, that's about 11,000 a month.

Here is the break down of eggs in a female human lifespan:

In utero- 6-7 million
At birth- 1-2 million
Menarchy- 300,000-500,000
20s- 150,000-300,000
30s- around 27,000
40s- around 5000-10,000
In the year or so leading up to Menopause- around 1000

A woman will receive about 1 million sperm during intercourse, only one will fertilize the egg inside her.  The remaining spermatozoa will perish within the body of the female murderess.

If that fertilized egg gets to proceed to full, safe birth of a health baby--the female human is only partially golden.  She did her duty, but is still savagely laying waste to eggs and visitor sperm as time goes on.

Right now, a fertilized egg is considered a child in Alabama, USA.  A state that has a Romeo and Juliet law that provides a defense for consensual sexual acts with a minor as long as the victim (if it was consensual why use victim?) was at least 12 years old and the defendant was no more than 2 years older than the ..victim.  Is a 12 year old considered a child?
Please, let's have this state set precedent. We're taking crazy pills.

How long until an egg within a female human body will be considered a child?

Would a spermatozoa be considered a child?
Be careful human males, they could be coming for you too. Hahahahahah, as if.
