lair of the white worm
I watched most of this the other night, totally bizarre and I love it. Hope to finish it soon. The 1988 movie is inspired by the novel of the same title by Bram Stoker and the English legend of the Lambton worm.

grotbags
Grotbags was a witch on a british children's program played by Carol Lee Scott. I had never heard of this character nor actor until Ms. Scott's death this summer. I would've loved to watch this as a kid!

Oh my goth
I love this! The title and gothness reminds me of Miriam the haunting short story by Truman Capote.

Also, now I'm deeply into my decision of becoming a nun when I was younger. I didn't do it and I'm fine with that, but I'm laughing about how I viewed (or still view) it. Simple, contemplative--me just sitting and staring and being lazy without anyone bothering me about it. Sweeping my uncluttered room. Same clothes. Can hoe in the garden or make bread. Of course that's for all the wrong reasons religion wise, but all good reasons to me. I might be a nun that sings "Maria-a-an" for Halloween.

Damn. Right.
"That’s the “patriotism” of white supremacy. It’s not about our country. It’s about a bunch a fearful old white guys who wish they could live forever, who want everyone else to be punished in order to justify their miserable cynicism towards humanity."

Debt
In July 2014, Vladimir Putin also visited Cuba, where he touted a decision to wipe clean 90 percent of the island's $35 billion debt to Moscow and announced deals to invest in Cuba's offshore oil industry.
